Dairi

¤ Dairi is a regency on the northwestern shore of Lake Toba. It shares 28 kilometers (17 mi) of the shoreline. Its area is mostly hills and mountains. What’s Special
The regency is best known for coffee, both robusta and arabica. Approximately 6,770 tons of robusta coffee is produced in Dairi every year, in addition to 2,639 tons of arabica. Coffee is so famous here that Toba Coffee Festival is a regular annual event on Lake Toba.
Beside coffee, religion is a big theme in the area. One of the tourist attractions there is Taman Wisata Iman (or Faith Travel Park). It shares the vision of all religions living in harmony. Exotic, charming, and full of religious nuance are the words to explain the panoramic views of the park. The carefully-designed spatial structures on the hill originally covered by forest fit perfectly with the need of a calm environment required on all religious sites.
But, visiting Dairi is a much bigger experience. You can take your family to beaches, villages, parks, and waterfalls. The views of mountain peaks, forest and lake dominate most places there. Overall, it has beautiful landscapes, green vegetation, and colorful forestry.
